​Isabel Van Zijl is originally from Baltimore, Maryland where she grew up training in classical ballet. In college she developed a passion for modern dance where she both participated and choreographed in school showcases. In 2015 she completed a dual degree program in which she received a B.A. from Scripps College in Management Engineering and a B.S. from Columbia University in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Dance. Isabel moved to LA in 2015 and first joined Rudy’s Sunday workshops in the summer of 2016. She continues to participate in Rudy’s workshop and attend ballet classes while working as a Data Analyst.
