Andrew N. Milhan
Andrew Milhan designed the lighting for most of Sarah's major works.  He was the Technical Director and Lighting Designer for the Dance Department at California State University, Long Beach, from 1993 to 2014, coordinating events in the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater and teaching lighting design and production for dance.  Previously, he worked for the Lewitzky Dance Company for eight years, first as Production Manager and later as Technical Director/Lighting Supervisor.  In 1983 and 1984, he was the Production Manager of the dance component of the Los Angeles Olympic Arts Festival.  The projects and companies/choreographers he has designed for include “The Lewitzky Legacy:  A Tribute In Dance”(co-designer), Vox Dance Theatre, Jeff Slayton, L.A. Ironworks, ThreeWay…A Tri-Coastal Dance Project, Pennington Dance Group, Davalos Dance Company, Jazz Tap Ensemble, Dance Kaleidoscope, Feet Speak, American Repertory Dance Company, and the UCLA Asia Pacific Performance Exchange.  Mr. Milhan was the recipient of the 2005 Lester Horton dance award for Outstanding Achievement in Lighting Design. Contact Andrew:  anmilhan@aol.com
